Quite a talent

Video game music tends to have a much less cinematic sound to it than that of a movie soundtrack. Yet you always seem to manage to take a video game track, even one as simple as the starfox 64 victory theme and turn it into an epic cinematic track. this would easily fit the opening or closing of a starfox movie. Funny, just a music track alone makes me wanna sit and animate a starfox movie lol. Well done once again.

Setu-Firestorm responds:

Thank you much! ^_^

awesome remake

i really hope (though also highly doubt) nintendo will do a luigis mansion game for the 3ds, even if its just a remake.

GameMusicPersonthing responds:

they did

awesome

you should send this to james rolfe. they usually take fan remixes of the theme to use in the show and i'm sure this is something he'd use

Setu-Firestorm responds:

I sent it to him. Haven't heard back, though.

woot!

are you going to release the track that plays when link is getting ready to leave?

Setu-Firestorm responds:

I'm guessing you mean the part where Link's about the leave the forest, before he meets Saria on the bridge. I fused that music in with the Fate of Hyrule.

"The Fate of Hyrule" used to be 2 different pieces, one being the conversation with the Deku Tree and the other being Link preparing to leave. I put them together into one long piece when I released it here.

There is no more Hero of Time music from the movie that hasn't already been released.

The only piece from the movie I never released is the only piece in the film that I didn't compose: Honest Ivan's Shop.

one of my favorites

the temple of time theme isn't normally one of those songs that would fit in a movie but you pulled it off. too bad they shut the movie down, luckily someone put it on youtube but the quality sucks, ah well.

Setu-Firestorm responds:

Yeah, I'm glad to see efforts being made by fans to preserve the film and its soundtrack. I appreciate it, and I'm sure BMB does as well.

And this piece is one of my favorites from the soundtrack. I'm very pleased with how it turned out.

ganondorf kicked ass in this movie

but whoever keeps going to these and giving bad reviews must be retarded, just cuz they didnt like the movie doesnt mean bash on the soundtrack

Setu-Firestorm responds:

I don't really take it personally, but I do appreciate the support. =)

the movie was amazing

i just finnished watching the zelda movie for the 3rd time, you did an amazing job composing the music and i cannot wait till the soundtrack is out.

Setu-Firestorm responds:

Thank you. The soundtrack should be released on Dec 21st with the DVD files on the website.

I will be uploading them (in pairs, since that's the NG daily limit) here as well.

awsome

it sounds like something out of super smash bros

Stage3-1 responds:

It probably is in Smash Bros. Although it is originally from the NES Super Mario Bros. 2. Thanks for the review.

amazing

the song of time vocal at the end was a good touch to this

Setu-Firestorm responds:

Thanks. Actually, when I composed this, I decided last-minute to go ahead and add that in there (pulled it from another piece ("Going Back") and pitch-shifted it to the appropriate key), and I felt it was a good touch as well.

I'm glad you like it, and thank you for the feedback.
